Reports & statistics

Two console reports for administrators, both computed from each course's enrolledStudents list. The output below is what they print for the sample data.

option 12

Enrollment statistics#

Admin option 12 calls dataManager.viewEnrollmentStatistics(): one line per course, a running total, and whether any course is open.

Most popular course#

Admin option 13 calls dataManager.generateReports(). It keeps the first course with the highest count, so a tie goes to the course listed first.

Limitations#

Console text only: no charts and no file export
No history and no comparison across semesters
Dropped students are still counted, because dropping does not update the roster
